I hope you’re all enjoying the final stretch of summer!
Following the exciting announcement of our Virtual Half-Day Conference with free registration, I want to take a moment to recognize the incredible work of the FMNEA Executive Committee. Behind the scenes, they’ve been busy preparing for our upcoming in-person 2025 Conference in Winnipeg—and it’s shaping up to be another fantastic event.
The FMF registration portal is now open and capped at 80 participants - so register early to save your spot! I’ll be hosting an upcoming Coffee Talk to walk through the registration process and answer any questions you may have.

Nominations Now Open: FMNEA Awards of Excellence
The FMNEA Executive Committee is thrilled to announce that nominations are officially OPEN for the 2025 FMNEA Awards of Excellence!
These awards celebrate the incredible work of the administrative staff who support and elevate Family Medicine education across Canada. Let’s recognize their passion, innovation, and impact!

Administrator Award of Excellence
For an individual demonstrating outstanding service, collaboration, and leadership in medical education.Team Excellence Award
For a group of administrators showing exceptional teamwork, communication, and creative problem-solving.
📍 Award Presentation
Winners will be celebrated at the FMNEA Conference, held alongside the CFPC Family Medicine Forum. The FMNEA Awards are supported by the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC).
